Course Synopsis:

This is the state of the art ASD. In this course we will cover all of the necessary curriculum to receive your IICRC ASD certification, such as; WRT review, advanced psychrometry and moisture documentation, monitoring techniques, drying systems and techniques, etc. In addition to the book material you will be a hands-on remediation technician performing a real water loss in our state of the art training facility including true to life substructure remediation. This course is designed to ensure that all of the students that attend become part a category 1 water loss. Unlike the basic ASD courses this course will cover multiple strategies that can be employed to dry a water loss; including floating carpeting, in place drying, heat drying, etc… We will also be using our state of the art training facility to show hardwood drying and slab leaks.

• Extraction and Removal of Bulk Materials
• Padding Removal and Floating Carpet
• Baseboard Removal and Basic Aeration Techniques
• Advanced Equipment Determinations and Set Up
• Basic Carpet Removal
• Basic Carpet Reinstallation
• Chemical Application
• Substructure Remediation
• Etc…
