Course Synopsis:

This combo course covers both the OSHA Confined Space Entry and the OSHA Blood Borne Pathogens standards in one course. We will cover the confined space standards including; basic definitions, permit required vs. non-permit required, atmospheric dangers and testing, basic personal protective equipment, setting up a confined space program, documentation, etc… We will also cover the blood borne pathogens standards; what is a BBP, sharps, documentation, immunizations, basic biology, setting up and maintaining a blood borne pathogen program, personal protective equipment, spill clean up, and accident avoidance. This course is lecture based and the one and only class that does not contain any hands on.
